Doctor Who: 10 Things Clara's Dreams Taught Us In Last Christmas
10. "I've Always Believed In Santa"
He just looks a bit different to her, is all. Last Christmas may have left the mystery of Santa Claus up in the air but it did prove something that's perhaps even more important - that Clara Oswald still believes in the Doctor. This is a pretty big deal given the fact she bid adieu with him forever more at the end of the last series. For a minute there it really looked like it was going to be the end of their time together but Father Christmas had other ideas. Thanks to Old Saint Nicholas our heroes were reunited and given the chance to admit to each other that they had parted on a lie - two big ones, to be more precise. They were ultimately trying to protect each other but their encounter with the Dream Crabs affirmed that they're never better than when they're together. Clara - and us - thought her TARDIS days were over but when the Doctor appears in your bedroom offering all of time and all of space, how is one possibly supposed to be resist? The temptation was too much for our impossible girl and that blue box is probably the greatest Christmas present she could've asked for. It was definitely at the top of our lists, anyway.
