Doctor Who: 10 Things Clara's Dreams Taught Us In Last Christmas
4. She Dreams Of Teaching Around The World
The final dream sequence of the episode gave fans some intriguing insights into what a life without the Doctor would be like for Clara Oswald - or at least what she'd like it to be like, anyway. The Doctor woke up from his own dream and returned to his best friend but upon his arrival he realised that he'd actually been gone 62 years and she was now an old woman living alone in that bloody house that came from nowhere. Still not over that. It wasn't all bad news, though, because she revealed that she'd lived a full and happy life without him and had continued travelling, too. What's more, she had taught in every country in Europe which is a rather impressive feat. Ian Chesterton would be so proud.
