7. "Four Things And A Lizard"

At the end of Blink, Martha Jones hurries the Tenth Doctor by saying that €œthere€™s 20 minutes to red hatching€ while they€™re carrying a longbow and arrows. She€™s essentially insinuating that there€™s going to be Doctor Who Duck Hunt but with newborns. What could just about save this is the fact that they take a taxi there, and use a longbow. What happened to the TARDIS? Why are they using comparatively primitive tech? It could be that the Doctor is trying to save all of these eggs from the clutches of the lizard and has a device which could do that. However, the Lizard is an extra-dimensional being which casts a field which shuts down all technology from after the time period of the planet it lands on to stop time travellers getting in its way. The episode would mostly be the Doctor running around London trying to buy things and working out the ticket machines for the tube as he tried to find things in central London to help him. It€™s an episode which could be comedic to make up for the fact it suggests that the Doctor was going to execute a bunch of young like he was a North Korean prison camp guard.
