Doctor Who: 10 Worst Episodes Of Nu Who

3. The Doctor's Daughter

docs-daughter On the surface, a lot of fans hate this episode because of the crushing disappointment they felt after being cheated out of a story that involved the Doctor's daughter in anything but the most literal sense of the word (Jenny may have the Doctor's DNA, but she pops out of the oven fully grown). If you look closer, however, there's plenty of other reasons to dislike this episode. Chief among them has to be the undignified treatment of Martha, who seemingly decided to hop back in the TARDIS to humiliate herself. I genuinely like Martha and enjoy Freema Agyeman's portrayal of her, but watching the poor girl stuck in the marshes bleeting over the death of the fish man required a level of emotional fortitude I don't know I possessed.
