Captain Jack Harkness is sexy, out spoken, hilarious and someone who would give his life for you. Rose Tyler did save him and bring him back to life causing him to pretty much never die. Throughout his run with the 9th and 10th Doctor's Captain Jack was always flirty and fun, but got serious when it all mattered. He helped in so many circumstances with his ability to come back to life as one advantage in horrible situations. He would be a friend who would be the perfect wingman and tell you who you should or shouldn't date. He's also that friend who you'd try your very hardest not to fall in love with, but completely fail.
