Doctor Who: 12 Big Questions About Ashildr's Episodes

9. And Is She Going To Become The Doctor's Next Companion?

This is probably the big question fans had after the last trailer for series nine was released. That and whether she was the Doctor's daughter Jenny, his actual Galliferyan daughter / Susan's mother, Susan or Romana. Now given her significant role in Game Of Thrones, it is unlikely that Maisie Williams will be jumping ship for Doctor Who, not unless Arya Stark is going to meet a very grizzly fate in season six. But given the rumours of Doctor Who series ten being split or delayed in some manner, what if that is nothing to do with Steven Moffat's schedule on Sherlock but Maisie William's schedule on Game Of Thrones? Moffat likes to plant the seeds of his pivotal characters early - see River Song in the library or Oswin Oswald / souffle girl in Asylum Of The Daleks - so what if the arrival of the Mire / human immortal is the starting point of her tenure on the TARDIS?
