Doctor Who: 12 Things That Could Happen During The 12th Doctor's Run

10. Daleks And Angels On Vacation?

Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Daleks No more Weeping Angels or Daleks for a couple of seasons. The novelty of these recurring antagonists has long since worn thin. They jumped the shark, in Amy and Rory's last stand. Seeing the Statue of Liberty as a Weeping Angel was a bit over the top. At least give them a couple of seasons before they return. The Daleks have clashed with almost every incarnation of the Doctor excluding the Eighth, unless you count audio adventures as canon. They have also had the Doctor erased from their memories, since Clara helped the Doctor on Skaro. Not to mention the baggage of being part of the Time War, the "extinct" Daleks seem to keep returning in the series, over all the numerous rogues the Doctor has encountered in his adventures. Villains are always more entertaining than a horde of monsters, due to them actually having a personality instead of a single-minded persona.
