Even though it feels like it only happened a year or two ago, 2020 will, unbelievably, mark seven years since Doctor Who celebrated its 50th anniversary.
There was so much excitement surrounding the occasion due to the fact that special episode The Day Of The Doctor was set to unite David Tennant's and Matt Smith's Doctors, and Who fans the world over will always remember those days with immense fondness. Also, thankfully, the episode itself lived up to the hype surrounding it.
And so, in an effort to spread some joy in these times of global crisis, former Doctor Who showrunner (and Day Of The Doctor screenwriter) Steven Moffat recently took to Twitter to participate in a watch-along of the 50th special, allowing fans of the show to come together and relive a fraction of the buzz that was felt back in 2013.
And as an added bonus, Moffat also revealed some brand-new behind-the-scenes details about the production of the episode, from alternate scenes to cut jokes, and a bit of insight into how the final draft of the script came together.
He even created an original scene specifically for the watch-along, so let's start there...
