3. The Silurians - The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood The Silurians now face the same problem as the Sontarans, although they face it with much more dignity. Madame Vastra is a competent detective whose spinoff I would totally watch, and the Silurians are so much more humanoid than the Sontarans that they are at once more relatable and more unnerving. Of course, in the face of a Silurian attack, her love for Jenny could even justify Vastra siding with the humans rather than her own people and provide an interesting twist. Still, we're so used to seeing Madame Vastra as a friendly if formidable figure, and most of us only remember the Silurian introductory episodes of Nu-Who as being the first time that Rory died, so enemy Silurians should not be on the top of the list of villains for upcoming seasons.
