Doctor Who: 15 Villains That Should Not Come Back

13. The Lego Daleks - Victory Of The DaleksScreen Shot 2013-07-18 at 2.07.28 PM Even without the picture, if you were at all familiar with Season 5, you'd know what I was talking about. These Daleks were not the metallic killing machines of deadly dead death. They looked like oversized toys and came in primary colors. Thus they are "Lego" Daleks. Granted, I wasn't around when classic Who was on and I can't attest to all of the stories of British children hiding behind their sofas at the sight of a Dalek, but if I were a kid when I saw "Victory of the Daleks," I would have wanted to have one of Eleven's cookies and bug my mom to get me the red robot. Eleven's speech to them paled in comparison to Nine's in Season 1's "Bad Wolf" (although I've never been a fan of the "jammie dodger" speech, and not only because I'm an American and had no idea what jammie dodgers actually were), and while I understand that Doctor Who is technically made for children, the villains are supposed to seem villainous rather than an assembly of the Dalek Power Rangers.

Fiction buff and writer. If it's on Netflix, it's probably in my queue. I've bought DVDs for the special features and usually claim that the book is better than the movie or show (and can provide examples). I've never met a TV show that I won't marathon. Follow on Twitter @lah9891 .
