18. A Good Man Goes To War

This is his intrigued face, if you hadn't guessed already. It usually happens when he's told some sort of Earth-shattering bombshell that throws a timey-wimey spanner into the works, à la the reveal of River Song's true identity at the end of the mid-Series 6 finale, A Good Man Goes to War. A revelation such as this is usually proceeded by him joyfully running into the TARDIS with his arms flailing before he dances around the console like an excitable child on Christmas Day. He's just as excited as the rest of us about what will happen next but usually he's the last to find out. Time travel and that. He never seems to get anywhere in the right order.
