Doctor Who: 20 Things You Didn't Know About The Ninth Doctor

9. He Once Wore A Raxacoricofallapatorian Body Suit...

The Ninth Doctor encountered the Slitheen in Aliens Of London, World War Three, and Boom Town, and the cunning villains - who belong to a species called Raxacoricofallapatorians - went on to become iconic baddies from Series 1.

They have the power to wear human skin like a suit, allowing them to impersonate anyone of their choosing, and in those first two episodes, the Slitheen manage to infiltrate 10 Downing Street while disguised as various members of the government, but as always, the Doctor was there to put things right.

The Ninth Doctor has also met Raxacoricofallapatorians outside the main TV show, and in a 2016 comic called Doctormania, he turns the tables on them and uses their powers of disguise for himself, dressing up in a suit that resembles one of them.

He's joined by Captain Jack Harkness - who doesn't look too pleased about the whole thing - and this story only gets crazier from here...

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
