Doctor Who: 5 Things We Might Expect From Peter Capaldi As The 12th Doctor?

5. A Doctor With Class

doctor-who-peter-capaldi For me, Peter Capaldi feels like the Jon Pertwee to Matt Smith€™s Patrick Troughton. Whereas the Second and Eleventh Doctors were both bumbling clowns on the outside (with great depth and heroism within) I can see the Twelfth being another Third Doctor; refined, reserved and probably not without an element of superiority in his character. Peter Capaldi is another Scot like David Tennant and it would be interesting to see if he keeps any of his native tone in his voice. Personally I don€™t think it matters either way. Peter Capaldi is incredibly pronounced and well spoken and suggests a deep intelligence and wisdom, mixed with real life experience. A lot will come down to the Twelfth Doctor€™s €˜costume€™ but Peter Capaldi seems the first Doctor in a long time that could carry off the cravat and velvet of Pertwee€™s Third. I€™m not suggesting an outfit to similar €“ each Doctor needs their own style, but I can see a Doctor that is debonair and well dressed, as classy as his character.
