2. More Intensity From The Doctor
A lot of the time when The Doctor is doing a monologue while he is about to defeat a foe or an enemy there is always a sense of humor, a few lines or words that put a lighter touch on an otherwise drama-filled, serious situation. As much as I love this, there isn't as much intensity; it's become more about the humor and witty remarks than anything else. I think with Peter Capaldi being an older Doctor that we will have a lot more serious moments. I think, I hope, the series will take more of a darker tone and be a little more intense than the last few previous seasons.
