22. Earthshock (Fifth Doctor)

earthshock On from one Cybermen story to another. This one tells the story of an expedition sent to discover the fate of an exploration team looking for fossils. The Doctor and his crew also wind up in the tunnels where they meet the expedition team. After some confusion and accusations of them being responsible, they work together and discover the true fate of the earlier team. Yes, Cybermen. You're getting so good at guessing these things! On top of it being one of the best stories made, it also is widely remembered for having one of the most shocking endings of any Who story.

21. The Brain Of Morbius (Fourth Doctor)

morbius2 What do you get when you combine Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, 1950's B movies, and Doctor Who? You get The Brain of Morbius, a four-part story from 1976. Set on the planet Karn, it relates the story of an evil Time Lord named Morbius, who was supposedly executed, but whose brain survived. It was taken in by Solon, a mad scientist trying to build a body to house the brilliant mind of Morbius. The story was shockingly dark for the time, and even somewhat by today's standards. And now onto the heavyweights... the Top 20!
