1. River And The Dalek In 'The Big Bang'
There are, in my opinion, two stand out River Song scenes. The farewell scene in Series 7, and this moment from the finale of Series 5. River thinks that the Doctor has died and she's pissed. While Amy and Rory go off to help, River stands off a Dalek. She warns the it she is armed and can easily kill him by shooting it in the eye stalk. The Dalek retorts that she is an associate of the Doctor and thus she will show mercy. River retorts "I'm River Song, check your records again". The Dalek stops and says "Mercy, Mercy, MERCY!" We don't see what happens, but when Amy and Rory ask what happen, all River says is, matter of factly, that it died. Now this is hands down one of the coolest scenes in Doctor Who. A Dalek begs for mercy from a human! River Song is so bad ass that even Daleks are afraid of her. You really can't get any better than that can you!
