Doctor Who: 8 Big Questions After Time Heist

1. Is There More To Ms Delphox Than Meets The Eye?

Where Keely Hawes was announced in the casting for series eight, there was a mass of publicity surrounding her character, the evil banker Ms Delphox. As such we had high expectations for her character. But despite a great villainous performance by Hawes as -surprise - two characters, we couldn't help but feel a little dissapointed. Ben Miller didn't have the same level of publicity as the Sheriff Of Nottingham and yet plot wise, Delphox had no bigger impact to her episode than he did to Robot Of Sherwood. So we have to wonder, was it all hype and no substance, or was it something more? The mastermind behind the bank made her escape in the final moments of the episode. Later in life she seemed to genuinely regret her treatment of the last two Tellers, asking the Doctor to break them free. But in between, we know nothing about her, Perhaps that is because there's still more to come between Delphox and the Doctor. Perhaps Time Heist was just her introduction to the show? That would certainly make sense in terms of her publicity on Doctor Who. Could she be - as rumoured - a rebel Time Lord / Lady? Could she be the Rani? Let's just wait and see... Time Heist was a solid episode that resolved things nicely but let us with some intriguing questions. Do you agree? Are we reading too much into the episode? Or do you have questions of your own?
