Doctor Who: 8 Big Questions From Mummy On The Orient Express

Are we seeing a new side to the Doctor?

This week Mummy On The Orient Express delivered thrills, scares and mystery. It may not have topped the heights of last week's Kill The Moon but it certainly delivered on series eight's very strong run of episodes. Mummy On The Orient Express was an episode that left us with many questions to ponder over. From the true identity of the episode's villain to motivations of the Doctor and Clara and what this week's events mean for them moving forward. Clara - a surprise appearance after being noticeably absent from all trailer and images released - continued upon an even murkier path. She has been the Doctor's conscience for most of the series and that led to their major conflict last week. But this week, what started as one final hurrah became something new entirely and it will be interesting to see what it means for her, her boyfriend Danny and the Doctor himself. We learned new things about our hero - if indeed the Doctor is a hero. He is developing as much as Clara and he's still not finished. Whereas some Doctors, like Matt Smith's Eleventh, nailed their personalities almost immediately, Capaldi's Doctor is taking an entire series to define himself and that is making for fascinating viewing each week. With that in mind, click NEXT for the first question...
