6. More Capaldi
Well, not so new anymore. Peter Capaldi will be back with an almighty vengeance in Seres 9 and it's safe to say that the Twelfth Doctor is only just getting started. So what lies ahead for the incumbent incarnation of everybody's favourite Time Lord? Well, he'll be "funnier" this time round, according to Steven Moffat, who later backtracked by affirming that he'll still be the dark old Doctor they established throughout his first string of adventures. In short, nobody really knows what the hell is going on. Which makes it all the more exciting! Whatever is in store for the Twelfth Doctor in Series 9, fans can rest easy knowing that Peter will be as entertaining and versatile as ever. Will he be "game-changing", though? Well, yes. He's Peter bloody Capaldi! Just look at the eyebrows. What more could you possibly want?!
