1. They Made Fans Agonise Over One Sentence
https://youtu.be/QfK8y7KVADo On the desolate, misty shores of Bad Wolf Bay is where the Doctor and Rose Tyler bade goodbye, and where a star inconveniently chose to stop performing nuclear fusion. You really should have anticipated this, Doctor. A sniffling Rose wailed and cooed as the Doctor's figure dissipated from her universe with three simple words left unspoken. Do they really need saying? It seemed rather obvious that they would be included in his next line. Yet Rose fixated on this lack of verbal reassurance. It was a sentence that really meant nothing, as it only encapsulates what should be expressed through a lifetime of actions. Just think of that one instance where the Doctor confronted the Devil just to ensure that you were safe, Rose. That heroic action speaks volumes in and of itself. But no, even the bloody Devil isn't enough. Oh, but the irony of this situation can be so easily travestied. What if the Doctor disappearing was only a temporary malfunction, a momentary blip in the holographic projection? Good luck in recovering from that, Doctor. And even if he
did succeed in completing his sentence, what would have happened next? An awkward silence? Look no further than this above
HISHE (How It Should Have Ended) clip to discover how the Doctor could have timed his farewells in a more timely fashion. He is a Time Lord, after all.
