7. Will Ashildr / Me Become A Hero Or Villain In The End?
One of the most interesting things about Ashildr is seeing her grow from innocent Viking girl to thieving 16th century Highwayman to mayor of an alien sanctuary. She certainly seems to have forged a life of peace, protecting refugee-seeking aliens, even if she has used nefarious means to enforce that balance. But by leading the Doctor into a trap and causing Clara's death any good she has done has been undone in the Doctor's eyes. "Youll find that it's a very small universe when Im angry with you." Will Ashildr / Me find a way to make things right and become a hero? Or will she resign herself to becoming the Doctor's enemy and fight against him in the finale? It would be very surprising if she didn't make one more appearance in Hell Bent. But whose side will she be on?
