5. And Just How Does This All Link Into The Hybrid Mystery?
We recently ran an article asking who are the hybrids and what does it all mean? Despite an appearance by Human - Mire hybrid Ashildr herself, Face The Raven did nothing to expand this mystery or introduce new hybrids into the show's lore. So we have to assume that whatever series nine has been building to will be resolved in the series finale. Will the Doctor uncover the mystery in the place he has been transported to? Will he come face to face with the series big bad? Will the big bad be a hybrid too? Will Osgood - a Human - Zygon hybrid be back too? And what about Davros and any surviving Dalek - Time Lord hybrids? In fact, did Davros threaten Ashildr? There are still plenty of big questions that the series finale will need to answer.
