Doctor Who: EVERY NuWho Villain And Monster Ranked Worst To Best

60. The Kasaavin

Doctor Who villains
BBC

Appear in: Spyfall.

It's a shame that the Kasaavin were sidelined and merely used as pawns in the Master's scheme. With booming voices akin to the Beast; the ability to walk through walls; transport beings into their endlessly creepy, Mirkwood-like realm; and on the cusp of taking over the universe, the Kasaavin were shaping up (geddit?) as one of those - to borrow a Russell T Davies phrase - "battle of a lifetime" villains.

But, as with The Rings of Akhaten, Spyfall suffers from having too many villains - which included the Master and Daniel Barton - despite the story being spread across two episodes.

The name's Colbourn, James - yeah, doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
