Doctor Who: EVERY NuWho Villain And Monster Ranked Worst To Best
165. Pig Slaves
Appear in: Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks.
Putting aside the fact that they're trained to slit your throat with their bare teeth, the tragic circumstances of these grotesque monsters were rightly touched upon when Martha felt terrible guilt when killing a group of them via a lightening strike atop the Empire State Building - because the pig slaves were once people.
This is further espoused with poor, partly-converted Laszlo. The Doctor tells him he can't reverse what the Daleks cruelly did to him but is thankfully given a home in Hooverville, although Laszlo is forewarned by Frank: "Don't imagine people ain't gonna stare. I can't promise you'll be at peace."
His fraught future harks back to when the Doctor "saved" Ursula in Love & Monsters, but maybe we're putting too much of a downer on the pig and the showgirl.
