Doctor Who: EVERY Steven Moffat Episode Ranked Worst To Best
25. Twice Upon A Time

As fans we often point out the changes and developments of Doctor Who over the years and Twice Upon a Time does a brilliant job of highlighting those differences through the meeting and interaction of the very first, and the very latest, incarnations of the Doctor.
The banter between Peter Capaldi and David Bradley is top-notch, and the more serious moments between the characters work very well too.
This episode not only marked the end of Capaldi and Moffat's Doctor Who journey, but also that of Murray Gold... or so we thought. As such, Twice Upon a Time is rife with some of his greatest compositions for Doctor Who, all vamped up for his final bow. It's a treat for the ears, underscoring those powerful final sequences as Twelve lets go and embraces his next incarnation.
