Doctor Who: EVERY Steven Moffat Episode Ranked Worst To Best
12. The Time Of Angels/Flesh And Stone

The return of River Song. The return of the Weeping Angels. A giant crack in space and time eating people alive. This was the moment Moffat said "I'm in charge now!"
With the exception of that naff sequence where the Weeping Angels start moving, this story succeeds in making the lonely assassins even more terrifying and evil than before, especially with them snapping necks (yikes), and the decision to have them communicate using the disembodied voice of their latest victim, Bob. Poor Bob.
It's an action-packed and highly entertaining first two-parter for Matt Smith and Karen Gillan that succeeds not only as a thrilling standalone Weeping Angel story, but as an integral part of the overall series arc.
