Doctor Who: Every Tenth Doctor Episode Ranked From Worst To Best

36. The Lazarus Experiment

Doctor Who The End of Time
BBC Studios

The Lazarus Experiment feels like a filler episode.

Despite Mark Gatiss' strong performance as Professor Lazarus - a Jekyll and Hyde-like character who is constantly transforming into a monster - nothing interesting really happens, with the Doctor and Martha running away from a really bad CGI scorpion for a little bit, before defeating it at the end. And that's it.

Say what you want about this episode though, it's not often that you see the protagonist play an organ so loud that they murder the villain. Pretty cool that bit was.
