Doctor Who: Every Tenth Doctor Episode Ranked From Worst To Best

Surprise! Blink is one of the best episodes of any TV series ever (not just Doctor Who), so of course it would go down as number one here.

With memorable characters, fantastic writing, and a truly terrifying villain, Blink does everything right. The Weeping Angels are such an effective invention because they combine two very scary things: the mystery of the unknown, and the fact that they're nigh-on impossible to stop. As Amy proved in Series 5, it's insanely difficult to not blink. And just what do they look like when they move? Where did they come from? And why are they so darn mean?

Though some of that mystery was tarnished in later appearances, the Weeping Angels in Blink retain their power to this day. Throw in some of the most iconic Doctor Who moments ever ("wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey" has possibly featured on more Doctor Who merchandise than any other line in the show) and some unbelievably poignant drama for an episode that doesn't feature our main characters ("I have until the rain stops"), and Blink is a classic episode that will be topping Doctor Who lists until the end of time itself.
