Doctor Who: Every Thirteenth Doctor Episode Ranked From Worst To Best
3. Eve Of The Daleks
This may be an unpopular choice, but we genuinely enjoyed the final entry in Chibnall’s Dalek trilogy.
This special sees the Doctor stuck in a time loop, sharing a storage facility with a handful of Daleks in a murderous Groundhog Day scenario. The whole concept is very Moffat, and for once plays with actual time travel elements in a time travel show. Better late than never, Chibs.
Aisling Bea is a delight in this story, delivering some of the most natural comedy in an era that frequently missed the mark in that regard, and all of the emotional beats of the story manage to land as well. Happy days.
