Doctor Who Series 8: 10 Confirmed Guest Stars

BBCWith the initial broadcast date now well known and the teaser trailer being widely picked apart all over the world, the eighth series of Doctor Who is almost upon us. Fans have been eagerly waiting for almost seven months however, ever since Matt Smith bid farewell to the TARDIS at Christmas, and Peter Capaldi declared his dismay at not being able to fly it. The BBC have been drip feeding hints about what to expect ever since (even without the internet leaks), and we even know the first episode bears the title Deep Breath.. The reveal of Peter Capaldi's costume was the most anticipated and debated, but as with any new Doctor this was to be expected. The fact that Samuel Anderson will also be joining the series in a recurring role was also greeted with many questions, many relating to the fact that although he works alongside Clara at Coal Hill School, it is strongly suggested that he will be joining both her and the Doctor in their adventures. The Most common though, is announcing of guest cast members; letting the fans who want to know (with many other fans ignoring them for fear of spoilers) just who will be popping up in individual episodes of their favourite series. Although there are those such as Michael Smiley (Spaced, Luther) and Tony Way (Sherlock, Game Of Thrones) whose names have been associated with the series but without confirmation, each of the ten guest stars on this list has been officially announced on the BBC Doctor Who's website.
