9. 1814 Frost Fair
The olde London town tradition of holding Frost Fairs on the frozen River Thames has been a favourite holiday hotspot for both the Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors - as mentioned in A Good Man Goes To War and The Caretaker - and now we finally get to see one on screen.
In this trailer, the Doctor handily tells us that he is taking Bill to the 1814 Frost Fair - the last one ever held. What's the betting that there turns out to be an alien explanation for that? Also, given Bill's excitement, we imagine that this is her first trip into the past. Namely, episode three from Face the Raven's Sarah Dollard.
Another part of the trailer shows the Doctor and Bill looking at the eye of some kind of giant underwater creature. Seeing as it is rumoured that the Frost Fair episode will feature an alien serpent, it's likely that this is a shot from that story too.
