To check if the Thames serpent ever made it into the history books, Bill searches for any mention of it on the internet when she gets back to the present.
Bill's search engine of choice is the fictional Search-Wise. This is the first time that the site has been featured in the show since 2005's Rose, where Ms Tyler used it to find out about this mysterious Doctor bloke she had just met.
Search-Wise used to be the placeholder for Google that was used across several BBC programmes during the 00s, for instance soap opera Eastenders.
