Doctor Who Series 11: 10 Huge Questions After It Takes You Away

4. Was This Sharon Clarke's Last Appearance?

Following her brief return as Grace’s ghost in Arachnids in the UK, it's been speculated that we would be seeing Sharon Clarke at least once more. There she was likely a figment of Graham’s imagination, and thought her parting words sounded final, Graham would likely see her again especially in a time of crisis. The character is still coming to terms with his loss, and such visions would be all part of the healing process.

Now it’s not so clear. With the introduction of a one-time only fake Grace, all bets are off as to whether the character will return again in another form. This looks to be it in truth, but if so, it’s a rather bittersweet parting. Graham and ‘Grace’ share some touching moments, with Grace feeling like she was the real deal. But on the other hand even these fall rather flat. Grace is surprisingly reserved when Graham says he even met her hero Rosa Parks.

We are not meant to get too invested in their reconciliation, given that Graham will have to effectively kill her all over again in order to save Ryan. Perhaps we are due, one final, more positive return. Will Ryan get to see her again for the first time?
