Doctor Who Series 11: 8 Ups & 2 Downs From 'The Woman Who Fell To Earth'

1. Grace's Weightless Death

Doctor Who Series 11
BBC

Since this episode runs for an hour, and the rest of the episodes run for 50 minutes a pop, there was more than enough time to tell a good story. No lightning-fast Moffat conclusions this time!

The Woman Who Fell To Earth is a pure, slow-burning mystery. Both in terms of the villain, the characters, and most importantly, the Doctor. Overall, the entire episode was top notch, but there was one dull note: Grace’s meaningless death.

We kind of knew it was coming since Sharon D. Clarke’s character has appeared in absolutely no marketing or promo, but it still didn’t feel right, even if Graham's tearful speech at her funeral helped make up for it.
