Doctor Who Series 2 Cast: Where Are They Now?

The final episode before Series 2's epic finale was Fear Her, the story of a young girl possessed by a lost alien child that could trap people inside drawings. It was set in the far-flung year of... 2012?

Crikey, time really is relentless, isn't it?

The girl in question was Chloe Webber, and her mother Trish was played by Nina Sosanya. Trish overcoming the fear of her dead abusive husband plays a huge part in the plot, and Sosanya did a great job adding some depth to what is otherwise an unremarkable episode.

Prior to joining the Whoniverse, Sosanya had appeared in Russell T Davies' 2005 drama Casanova, which starred a certain Mr. Tennant as the title character. She also had a small part in the classic Christmas movie Love Actually as Annie, Prime Minister Hugh Grant's private secretary.

She's been very busy after her encounter with the Tenth Doctor as well. Most notably, she recently appeared in six episodes of the Bad Wolf-produced His Dark Materials, and played two different characters across both seasons of Amazon's Good Omens, once again linking up with David Tennant.

In a full circle moment, she also appeared in the show Twenty Twelve, which was a mockumentary about the planning of the London Olympics! Fancy that.
