Doctor Who: The 11th Doctor's 6 Most Spine Tingling Moments

1. Hello, I'm The Doctor

Here we are then, back where it all started on the roof of a hospital. Millions of people had tuned in to see Matt's efforts at taking over from the enormously popular David Tennant and what an opener it was, in my eyes the strongest since Rose. Still the defining moment for Matt's Doctor for me comes down to this. The way we see all the previous Doctors up to Tennant before it lingers on him just a little too long, before Smith walks straight through the hologram and utters those words. "Hello, I'm The Doctor".

All this before we here "I am The Doctor" for the very first time. This sends chills down me every time I watch it and it really shows you focused the producers were on showing everybody that this is the doctor now, get used to it. It's almost like this is the first time we really see him as The Doctor, he has his outfit, he's defeated his first enemy and a brand new TARDIS is waiting for him, it really is magical. Here's hoping that he gets a good send off.
