Speaking of UNIT, I did find their role this week, as cartoonish as it was, to be one of the highlights of the episode. I enjoyed the little sequence of all of UNIT’s agents being recalled, even if I’m confused about Mel getting a scooter up a skyscraper and deeply amused by how much Shirley’s mate took that whole ‘Back To The Future’ moment in her stride with next to no reaction.

The battle sequence was incredibly silly but a whole lot of fun, even if I was still reeling from Fifteen referring to the incident as ‘provoking the bone beast’ (how did this get through a script editor?). I’m glad the giant skeletal dinosaurs did factor in this week, despite being under explained, if only because it gave us that gloriously campy and needlessly impractical rotating skyscraper with Kate at some sort of ship’s helm barking orders.
