Doctor Who: What Your Favourite Companion Says About You

You can tell a lot about a person by which companion they like best...

When it comes to the Doctor's companions we all have our preferences. Some you like better; some you like less. Some you enjoy watching get thrown in a spaceship and chucked at prehistoric Earth. Looking at it more closely however, you can start to see patterns emerge. Different types of companions resonate with different sorts of people. The qualities in a companion that draw you to them can say a lot about the type of person that you are. As the Doctor himself once said, "As we learn about each other, so we learn about ourselves." Here then are some notable companions - the ones that tend to get mentioned whenever the discussion of favorite companions comes up. Is your favorite companion here? Then you might just learn a little bit about yourself...

15. Rose Tyler

The Companion: Rose Tyler: Former shop girl, turned universal traveler/savior of several versions of Earth. She travelled with both the 9th and 10th Doctors before being repeatedly left behind in a parallel dimension. Current holder of the 'Boomerang Award' for most return visits by a former companion, she once created an entire dystopian timeline for the sole purpose of getting Donna Noble to look in the mirror. Notable Achievement: The only companion to date to have been so liked by the Doctor that upon leaving she received a copy of his home game. What Liking Her Best Says About You: You have an unfulfilled thirst for adventure and feel that life hasn't given you the opportunity to really shine and show what you're worth. You most likely came to Doctor Who with the new series in 2005, and while you liked Christopher Eccleston well enough, it's David Tennant who will always be 'your' Doctor. You've always wanted to cosplay as Rose, but never quite been brave enough to do so.
