Emmys 2016: 9 Ups & 3 Downs
3. House Of Cards, Silicon Valley & Better Call Saul Get Shut Out
Not everyone can be winners, but what about sharing the wealth around a little bit? Sadly a number of brilliant productions were completely shut out and went home empty-handed, including House of Cards (which scored thirteen nominations without a win), Silicon Valley (eleven nominations), All the Way (eight nominations) and Better Call Saul (seven nominations).
Also massively disappointing was Fargo only winning two Creative Arts Emmys (for cinematography and sound editing) and not a single Primetime award despite having a grand total of eighteen nominations. In addition, The Americans underwhelmed with just a Guest Actress win for Margo Martindale from its five nominations.
Most of these shows at least have time to get their big moments over the coming years, but still, they were all deserving of at least a win or two.
