House Of Cards Stranger Things Daredevil

A frothy but entertaining return to the iconic show, A Year in the Life avoids the pitfalls of, say, Fuller House, by milking nostalgia but also knowing when to rein it in and attempt to move these characters on in a meaningful way.

Yes, the basically feature-length episodes are really a bit too long, but it's simply so much fun to be reunited with these characters as they face new obstacles in their lives a decade on.

More than anything, it's honest to the characters and to the fans, managing a solid middle-ground between being a warm blanket of comfort and something more substantial.
