Every Battlestar Galactica Series And Movies Ranked Worst To Best

3. Blood & Chrome

Battlestar Galactica
Universal

Blood & Chrome was an attempt to breathe life back into the franchise and bring about a new series, this time focussed on the tenth year of the Colonial-Cylon War of the reimagined series. Depicting the story of a younger William Adama (prequels... never a good idea) just after he's left the Caprica Military Academy, the plot follows his first mission aboard a ship called Galactica and the his raptor... Wild Weasel.

Once again, the show managed to capture the visual nature of the reimagined series perfectly, the design of the 'pocket' Battlestar Osiris and the battle with the classic design of Cylon Basestar is excellent. The human story of a few people desperately trying to survive against overwhelming odds remains intact and true to the previous series.

By this point, the franchise was clearly out of steam and this pilot wasn't picked up for a series, which was a saddening blow for everyone amongst the fanbase. This Web-Series was later made into a two-hour movie.

Still bitter that Star Trek Enterprise got canned and almost old enough to angrily tell the kids to 'Get Off My Lawn!'
