Every Bojack Horseman Lead Ranked From Worst To Best
4. Mr. Peanutbutter
The outrageously positive and energetic Mr. Peanutbutter is a unique presence in the show. While most of the characters battle with severe issues and discuss topical matters, he entirely morphs into his golden retriever counterpart and simply seems to enjoy life. This leads to the enthusiastic and enjoyable guy being a ton of fun, yet surprisingly complex, as he shows how constant positivity can be a determent to relationships and happiness.
He ranks lower because many of his decisions are frustrating, and his constantly happy vibe often appears selfish. Out of all the characters in the show - Bojack excluded - he is clearly the most vain, as he measures his connection to others on how the relationships make him feel and struggles to listen to his partners, which is evident from his constant failed marriages.
However, unlike Diane, while Mr. Peanutbutter is divisive in the fanbase, he still ranks as one of the funniest characters. His naivety and enthusiasm lead to some hilarious misunderstandings and amusing moments. This is why he gets a slight edge over his ex-wife.
