Every Breaking Bad Villain Ranked From Worst To Best

1. Walter White

Breaking Bad
AMC

Well, this is an interesting but inevitable entry. Of course, Walter White is both the main protagonist and antagonist of the series, so he easily deserves a place on top of this list, despite technically being the hero. Seeing this man go from a lowly and quiet high-school chemistry teacher to the terrifying, unempathetic and violent Heisenberg was the show's biggest triumph.

Breaking Bad entirely lived on this character's arc, so the fact that it was executed so well was a miracle. Walter started as an incredibly likeable and empathetic character, which is why his evolution worked so well. He was a wolf in sheep's clothing who only needed to be set down the wrong path to become a villain.

Having an entire show revolve around your performance must be intimidating. Still, Bryan Cranston was the man for the job, as he played every aspect of Walter's personality to perfection and walked the line between sympathetic and downright horrifying with ease.

His complicated motivations, transition from meek to fearsome and the duality between his family life and the criminal world all help him to go down in history as one of the best villains ever seen on a TV screen.
