Every Breaking Bad Villain Ranked From Worst To Best
8. Lydia Rodarte-Quayle
Lydia was a thoroughly interesting character, but she always felt entirely in over her head. She had no real place in the toxic and dangerous world of drug dealing, which was often reflected in her nervousness and constant mistakes. This added a really intriguing dynamic to the show, but also made her very lacklustre as a villain.
The character helped supply the materials needed for Gus' drug operation and seemed quite comfortable providing such a minimal service. But that all changed after Gus' empire was destroyed, and she found a new buyer in Walter White. Getting involved with him was a massive mistake, and being involved in the world of meth really wasn't her forte.
Lydia was a physical representation of the big-money side of the drug business, as her corporate position and desire not to get her hands dirty reflected how she sought the financial benefits, but not the criminal aspects.
However, to give her some credit, she did make it to the end, which wasn't a feat many others shared in. But, it was her addiction to Stevia sweetener packets that Walter would use to poison her, leading her to go out in a way that reflected how pathetic her attempts to navigate this world were.
