Every Breaking Bad Villain Ranked From Worst To Best

7. Hector Salamanca

Breaking Bad
AMC

The legendary Hector Salamanca was a fan-favourite character in Breaking Bad, thanks to Frank Ramirez's intense facial expressions, unique presentation and lack of speech. But Hector was more than just an enjoyable non-speaking role, he was also a fearsome and influential member of the Juarez Cartel and a thoroughly intimidating individual - at least in his youth.

While Hector did go out on the heroes' side, he spent the majority of his time in the series acting as a villain towards Walter and Jesse. Unfortunately, thanks to his old age, immobility and lack of ability to communicate - outside of his signature bell - he never posed too much of a threat.

Despite this, he ranks higher on the list as he did play some rather crucial parts, such as pointing the cousins in Walt, Jesse and Hank's direction and trying to convince Gus to eliminate the duo.

Additionally, while he wasn't in his prime during the show's chronology, Hector was still uproariously entertaining, as his iconic bell rings and influence as the patriarch of the Salamanca family made him unique, and was an excitingly fresh way to explore what happens once a criminal reaches old age.
