Every Death In The Simpsons Ranked

9. Alice Glick (Replaceable You)

The video above clearly shows Mrs. Alice Glick's death being reported by Kent Brockman. However, some eagle-eyed viewers have noticed someone who looks very much like Mrs. Glick cropping up in episodes after "Replaceable You". For the sake of our sanity, let's assume that she did perish in Season 23.

Her death came over 20 years after her first appearance in Season 2's "Three Men and a Comic Book". Not only did Mrs. Glick scrimp on Bart's chore payments, but she would appear in later episodes selling candy dishes ("Ninety Dollars!"), mistaking Lisa for a pineapple, and hanging out at the Retirement Castle.

It is at said Castle where Mrs. Glick meets her grizzly end when she and the other residents are given robotic seals by Bart and Martin in an effort to cheer them up. However, the seals are hacked by a group of local businesses who thrive on miserable elderly customers and get so aggressive that one of them ends up killing poor Mrs. Glick.

It's a gruesome death - perhaps overly so - but it was certainly shocking, especially because it happened to a character we had known for so long. Or did it... it did.
