Few showdowns will ever get more climactic than this, and none of them have a more hardcore beginning. With Buu finally attaining his final form, becoming the pint-sized Kid Buu, the first thing he does is destroy the earth. With vengeance on their minds, Goku and Vegeta set themselves to take on one of the most destructive forces they'll ever encounter.

Kid Buu doesn't do much for talking but his expressive face and intimidating demeanour more than makes up for it as he matches the two saiyans blow for blow.

He proves to be too much for even the series' two strongest characters, causing an unlikely save from Mr. Satan of all people. This brings back Good Buu, who manages to stall the malignant child for just long enough for the dragon balls to be gathered and for earth to be restored.

In a last ditch effort, Goku brings out the same attack he used to defeat Freiza, the spirit bomb. It takes more than just energy from the flora and fauna of the battle ground though, he needs to draw energy from the all the people of the earth, culminating in a moment so epic, kids watching the show on TV even held up their hands to give Goku their energy.

Few anime could ever create a moment this epic, but it wasn't even the best that DBZ had to offer.
