5. The Last Book In The Series
Smoke on the Daughter is the first episode on this list to have more than one nod to the boy who lived. From character costumes to more of Angelica Button, there was a handful of references packed into this 23 minutes.
Seemingly everyone in town queued up for the final book in the Button series, a follow up to the hilariously titled Teacup of Terror. Homer dressed up as Lord Evilton, Lisa as Angelica herself, Principal Skinner as a centaur, and Comic Book Guy as a character clearly based on Rubeus Hagrid.
On the way home, Lisa speed reads the entire book, The Deadly Denouement, cramming all kinds of Potter rip off jargon in before finishing and throwing the finished novel out of the window, never to be spoken about again for the rest of the episode.
