Created, written and directed by star Michaela Coel, I May Destroy You is 12 episodes of mystery and dark comedy, as well as a timely and beautifully drawn ode to the MeToo Movement. It follows Arabella, a novelist who is sexually assaulted after a night out and attempts to figure out what happened to her whilst rebuilding her life.
It's a deeply troubling, viciously funny and a truly eye-opening account about the victims of sexual assault, but it also works wonders to capture the feelings and history of an entire generation. A must-watch, and a staggering display of Michaela Coel's boundless talents.
