Every Love, Death & Robots Episode Ranked

1. Jibaro

The Very Pulse of the Machine
Netflix

Despite the stiff competition, this silent masterpiece is Love, Death & Robots' finest achievement to date, a captivating love story in which a mute knight and a siren find their fates inexplicably linked and doomed for tragedy.

Often described as a metaphorical look at the suffering of a toxic relationship -- the knight wants the siren's jewels, the siren becomes obsessed by his inability to hear her screams -- Jibaro can be read any number of alternative ways, what with its unflinching look at paranoia, greed and love.

Whatever you make of its ambiguity and unforgettably haunting finale, though, there's no denying that Love, Death & Robots has never been this visually stunning, intelligent, or deeply moving. It doesn't get any better than this.
